Oklahoma City's most iconic live-music venue, with a sordid past. Opened in 1937 as a Streamline Moderne movie palace on the Uptown 23rd District stretch of Route 66, it ran films for decades before closing in 1989 (a brief revival as a music venue in 1999 lasted about a year). After a full restoration it reopened in 2017 as a live-music, film and event venue, hosting concerts, comedy and screenings (~700 floor + 264 balcony).
