A 100-capacity all-ages acoustic listening room on Bonita Avenue in downtown Berkeley, opened in 2016 by musician Sam Rudin to recapture the cozy feel of the original Freight & Salvage. It books acoustically based music — jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, and Americana — in a seated, phones-away setting.
