Sala Apolo

Sala Apolo is a long-running concert hall and nightclub in Barcelona's Poble Sec neighborhood, occupying a building that dates to the early 20th century and operated as the Apolo cinema (opened 1935) and, over the decades, as a ballroom and other entertainment spaces before becoming a live-music venue. It runs three rooms — the main Sala Apolo, La [2] (added 2011) and La [3] (added 2018) — and is known for a wide-ranging program spanning indie, rock, flamenco, Latin and electronic music. The venue is a cornerstone of Barcelona club culture, home to long-standing club nights such as Nitsa, Nasty Mondays and Crappy Tuesdays.
