Rosa's Lounge
Logan Square · Chicago · US
Chicago blues lounge opened in 1984 by Italian immigrant Tony Mangiullo, who came to Chicago in 1978 after meeting Jr. Wells and Buddy Guy in Milan, and named for his mother, Rosa. Its stage spans traditional legends such as Pinetop Perkins and Honeyboy Edwards to modernists like Billy Branch and Sugar Blue, and the New York Times called it Chicago's best blues club.
