A Treme neighborhood bar and shrine to New Orleans music on N. Claiborne Avenue, opened by R&B singer Ernie K-Doe in 1994 and named for his 1961 hit. Trumpeter Kermit Ruffins revived it in 2014 and performs there regularly with his Barbecue Swingers, with jazz and swing sets several nights a week and barbecue often going out front.
