DAYDREAM

DAYDREAM, registered as Daydream Media und Music GmbH at Bauseweinallee 34 in Munich, calls itself Germany's first music supervising agency and has passed 350 productions since Klaus Jan Frers founded it in 1990 after a stint as a BMG manager. Frers still runs it as CEO alongside supervisors Florian Sonnleitner and Franko van Lankeren, who handles legal affairs, and Dr. Sabine Meier, who leads publishing. The filmography includes Lola rennt, Das Lehrerzimmer, Blood Red Sky, Wickie und die starken Männer, both Jim Knopf films, Der Wixxer, SMS für Dich and Wir sind die Welle, and the recent slate is busy: composer Marvin Miller won the 2026 Lola for Best Film Score on Ilker Catak's Golden Bear winning Gelbe Briefe, while Sonnleitner and van Lankeren supervised Simon Verhoeven's Oh, this unspeakable void and Extrawurst, both million ticket German hits. Note that this is a film and TV score house first: alongside supervision it clears rights, negotiates composer deals, administers more than 50 producer publishers through international sub publishing partners and runs a soundtrack label, so the natural way in is a project rather than a demo. Everything goes to a named address or +49 89 41200381.
