WNUC 96.7 Detroit Community Radio

WNUC-LP 96.7 launched in 2016 as a grassroots Pacifica-affiliated community station founded by Rev. Joan Ross to give Detroit's North End neighborhood a voice. It is the city's only noncommercial station not tied to NPR or a university, mixing community talk, urban gospel and locally produced music shows such as Human Fly Radio, which spins garage, surf, punk and local Michigan music.
