The Current (89.3 KCMP) is Minnesota Public Radio's noncommercial, member-supported music station, on air in the Twin Cities since 2005 and streaming worldwide. It plays new music alongside the music that inspired it, from local to legendary and indie to influential, and runs Radio Heartland for folk and Americana. Artists submit music for airplay through a digital form, with mail to the Music Director as an alternative.
