RUM is the radio station of the University of Minho in Braga, on air since 1989 and run largely by students and volunteers. Its schedule mixes music programmes, cultural and academic content, and author shows, functioning as a laboratory for new and experimental sounds. Programming matters are handled by a dedicated programming department.
