KAWC/KOFA is the public radio service of Arizona Western College in Yuma, the only community college in Arizona operating both AM and FM stations. KAWC-FM 88.9 mixes NPR news with jazz, classical and alternative music, while its sister AM service, KOFA Border Radio, is an all-music station programmed by AWC students. The station regularly recruits community and student volunteers to host music shows.
