Emily Lazar is an American mastering engineer and the founder and chief mastering engineer of The Lodge, a mastering studio she established in New York City's Greenwich Village in 1997 (later relocated to Stamford, Connecticut). She has mastered thousands of records across rock, pop and indie for artists including Beck, David Bowie, Foo Fighters, Sia, Vampire Weekend and Alicia Keys. She won the Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for Beck's Colors, becoming the first female mastering engineer to win in that category.
