Yellow Productions is a Paris-based French independent label founded in 1993 (often cited as 1994) when crate-digging DJ Yellow teamed up with Chris 'The French Kiss' Le Friant, better known as Bob Sinclar. Drawing on jazz, soul, bossa nova, hip hop and house, it became a cornerstone of the French Touch movement, launching Dimitri From Paris's landmark 1996 album 'Sacrebleu' and Kid Loco's 'A Grand Love Story.' Its roster also included DJ Gregory, Martin Solveig, Salome de Bahia and the Africanism project. The label remains active and recently marked its 30-year French Touch legacy with reissue compilations.
