Ultra Records is a major American electronic dance music label founded in New York City in 1995 by Patrick Moxey, who pressed its first 12-inch vinyl from a Lower Manhattan loft apartment. Now part of Sony Music, it became one of the most influential EDM labels in the world, releasing house, trance, tropical house and future-bass records and helping break or platform marquee dance acts. Its roster and catalog have included deadmau5, Tiësto, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Kygo, Armin van Buuren, Kaskade and SOFI TUKKER, and its YouTube channel is one of the platform's largest music channels.
