Trekky Records
Chapel Hill · North Carolina · US
Trekky Records is an independent record label and artist collective based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, started in 2001 by then-teenagers Martin Anderson and Will Hackney as an outlet for friends' music. It leans into Triangle-area indie rock, folk and adjacent sounds, and is known for releasing albums in a signature three-format package (vinyl, CD, and digital download). The label helped launch notable acts including Sylvan Esso and Lost in the Trees, and built its catalog around a tight-knit local collective.
