Touch and Go Records is a storied American independent label based in Chicago, Illinois, and one of the defining institutions of the U.S. 1980s underground and indie/alternative rock scenes. Closely tied to founder Corey Rusk, it built a reputation on uncompromising post-hardcore, noise rock, math rock and post-rock, releasing landmark records by Big Black, Shellac, Slint, Scratch Acid and TV on the Radio (alongside its Quarterstick imprint). Though it scaled back original releases after 2009, it remains active as a catalog label and online store.
