SuperNova Records

Orland · Maine · US

SuperNova Records is an independent, artist-run American label based in Orland, Maine, founded by Steve Austin of the noise-rock/extreme-metal band Today Is The Day to house that band's catalog and new releases. It bills itself as a no-compromise, integrity-driven operation devoted to 'real music and innovative art' with little concern for commercial success, leaning hard into heavy underground sounds (noise rock, sludge, experimental/extreme metal) under the tagline 'Sounds To Live By.' The active roster centers on Today Is The Day, Steve Austin's solo work, and acts like Taipan and Woorms. It is currently active, selling vinyl, CDs, and merch through Bandcamp and a Big Cartel store.
