Suburban Noize Records (aka Subnoize) is a long-running independent label out of the Los Angeles area, originally launched in 1997 by Kevin Zinger and Kottonmouth Kings frontman Brad 'Daddy X' Xavier as a home for music the mainstream wouldn't touch. It built its identity around underground hip-hop and rap fused with punk, rap-rock, and reggae-tinged stoner culture, anchored by flagship act Kottonmouth Kings and a sprawling extended family of artists. The roster spans names like (Hed) P.E., Big B, Madchild, Swollen Members, Mickey Avalon, La Coka Nostra, Unwritten Law, Moonshine Bandits, and Saint Dog/D-Loc, with the brand extending into apparel and lifestyle merch. The label remains active, selling music and merchandise direct-to-fan through its online store.
