Strictly Rhythm is the legendary New York City house music label founded on May 1, 1989 by Mark Finkelstein and A&R Gladys Pizarro. Through the 1990s it became one of the defining imprints of US house, releasing era-defining records from Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Masters At Work (Kenny Dope & Louie Vega), Armand Van Helden, Josh Wink, Reel 2 Real and Crystal Waters. After folding in 2002 and relaunching in 2007, the label and its catalogue were acquired by BMG in 2019 and it remains active with ongoing reissues and new house releases.
