Steelwork Maschine is a French label and mail-order distributor based near Brest (Plougastel-Daoulas, Brittany), founded in 2003 by Kris G. (Christophe Gales of Westwind) and Serge Usson, succeeding Kris G.'s earlier Black Sun Rising CD-R imprint. It specializes in extreme post-industrial styles — martial industrial, dark ambient, neoclassical, neofolk, power electronics and noise — issued on vinyl, CD, tape and in fanzine form. It spun off the sublabel Steelkraft Manufactory (2007) for small hand-made CD-R editions and remains active.
