Soulfuric Recordings is a soulful/deep house label founded in 1996 by Marc Pomeroy and Brian Tappert (the production team behind Jazz-N-Groove and Urban Blues Project), later expanding into the Soulfuric Deep and Soulfuric Trax sub-labels. It became one of house music's most respected imprints, releasing work by Soulsearcher, Cleptomaniacs, Copyright, Hardsoul, Ron Carroll and early Axwell. In 2017 the catalog was sold to Defected Records; the label survives primarily as a reissue/back-catalog brand under Defected, with releases hosted on its own Bandcamp.
