Sh-K-Boom Records is an independent New York label founded in 2000 by producer Kurt Deutsch and actress-singer Sherie Rene Scott to bridge pop/rock and musical theater. In 2004 it launched its flagship imprint Ghostlight Records, which became the leading independent force in original Broadway cast recordings, releasing landmark albums for shows like In the Heights, The Book of Mormon, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Be More Chill, and Beetlejuice. Across a catalog of 200-plus titles it has earned multiple Grammy wins and nominations for Best Musical Theater Album. Since a 2017 joint venture, Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight operates under Warner Music Group's Arts Music division and remains active.
