Salt Records is a London-based independent label founded in 2000 by Roberto Concina, better known as the Italian electronic musician Robert Miles, after he split from Deconstruction/BMG. It serves as a home for genre-crossing work spanning electronica, ambient, alternative rock, nu-jazz and techno, releasing Miles's own projects alongside acts such as Miles Gurtu and Blue Light Fever, with collaborators including Robert Fripp, FSOL and Dave Okumu. The label, which ran studios in London and Ibiza and was distributed via !K7 in Berlin, has continued to steward Miles's catalogue since his death in 2017.
