Rising Son Records is an independent folk label founded in 1983 by singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie, headquartered since 1992 in the Old Trinity Church in Housatonic (Great Barrington), Massachusetts -- the same building tied to the Alice's Restaurant story. It manages and releases Guthrie's catalog (excluding the original Alice's Restaurant album, still owned by Warner) along with releases from his family and folk peers. The roster includes Arlo Guthrie, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Folk Uke, The Dillards, Hans Theessink, and Gordon Titcomb.
