Peak Records is an American smooth-jazz and jazz-fusion label founded in 1994 by Rippingtons guitarist Russ Freeman with Andi Howard. It built a roster of contemporary-jazz and adult-R&B names including The Rippingtons, Lee Ritenour, Jeff Lorber, David Benoit, Norman Brown and Gerald Albright. The label moved under Concord in 2000 and is now an absorbed/dormant Concord imprint rather than a standalone operation.
