No Idea Records is a long-running independent punk label out of Gainesville, Florida that grew out of a 1980s fanzine and put out its first record in 1988. Across 350-plus releases it became a cornerstone of the Gainesville scene, helping shape a regional strain of melodic, gruff punk, emo and post-hardcore. Still active, it issues vinyl and CDs from punk acts worldwide while keeping deep local roots.
