Nihilist Records is an experimental and noise label founded by Andy Ortmann, originally in St. Louis to release his own project Panicsville. It built a reputation for confrontational, uncompromising sound art, releasing work by the likes of Wolf Eyes, John Wiese, Cock E.S.P. and Costes across noise, neo-folk, musique concrète and other fringe forms.
