Neurot Recordings is a fiercely independent American label founded in 1999 by members of the avant-garde metal band Neurosis. It releases heavy and experimental music — post-metal, sludge, drone, post-rock, ambient and noise — built around an artist-run, uncompromising ethos. Its roster has featured Neurosis, Amenra, Steve Von Till, A Storm of Light, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, Corrections House and many more across the heavy-experimental spectrum.
