M.O.D. Technologies is a New York City independent label founded in 2010 by producer/bassist Bill Laswell and RareNoiseRecords' Giacomo Bruzzo, conceived as the modern successor to Laswell's legendary Axiom label. It traffics in experimental, avant-garde, dub, and electronic-jazz fusion, originally built around the collective Method of Defiance. Releases span Laswell himself plus Praxis, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, DJ Krush, Bernie Worrell, and remixers like Scientist and Mad Professor. The project has since evolved into 'M.O.D. Reloaded,' which the current site reflects.
