Mint Records is a Vancouver independent label founded in 1991 by campus-radio enthusiasts Randy Iwata and Bill Baker, and one of the cornerstones of Canadian indie-pop and indie-rock. Across more than three decades it has released work by The New Pornographers, Neko Case, cub and The Pack a.d., earning a reputation as the progenitor of 'cuddlecore.' The modern label foregrounds an explicit code of ethics and an inclusivity initiative, and its current roster spans indie rock, alt-pop and experimental acts like Ribbon Skirt, Nora Kelly Band and knitting.
