Milk! Records was an independent Melbourne label founded in 2012 by musicians Courtney Barnett (creative director) and Jen Cloher (label manager) as an artist-run alternative to the major-label system, focused on indie and alternative rock. It won Best Independent Label at the AIR Awards in 2015 and 2018 and handled Australian releases for international acts such as Sleater-Kinney and Chastity Belt. The label shut down at the end of 2023 due to persistent financial pressures worsened by COVID-19, and its milkrecords.com.au site is now offline.
