Marriage Records is a small, collaborative independent label founded in 2001 in Portland, Oregon by Curtis Knapp and Adrian Orange, since relocated (c. 2015) to Los Angeles under Jimmy Leslie of White Fang. It functions as an artist collective where members swap roles and collaborate, releasing vinyl, CDs, tapes, books, posters, and even skateboards across indie, experimental, electronic, and freak/alt-folk styles. Its catalog includes early work by Dirty Projectors, Tune-Yards, Yacht, Mount Eerie, Karl Blau, Little Wings, and Parenthetical Girls, and it also runs the Marriage Publishing House literary imprint.
