Lyte Records is an independent Belfast-based label founded in 2007 by MOBO-nominated Northern Irish jazz drummer, composer and hip-hop producer David Lyttle. Over more than 50 album and EP releases it has ranged freely from jazz to hip-hop, classical and folk, earning press attention from Rolling Stone to BBC Radio 1. Beyond recordings, the label leans into outreach, bringing jazz to rural communities and running workshops across four continents. It champions both Irish and international artists, often pairing emerging talent with established names.
