Lotuspool Records is an American independent label started in 1992 (originally in Lawrence, Kansas; now Kansas City, Missouri) by musicians Chris Garibaldi and Matt Hyde, with a stated mission to 'celebrate great, independent music regardless of its appeal.' In 2012 it shifted to a free download/streaming model, and it operates primarily through Bandcamp. The roster is rooted in Midwestern indie/alt-rock from the Lawrence and Chicago scenes, including Poster Children, Suneaters, Heidi Lynne Gluck, and Panel Donor.
