Laptra, or Discos Laptra, is the La Plata independent label and artistic collective founded in 2003 that helped define modern Argentine indie rock. Its catalog is anchored by scene-defining names such as El Mato a un Policia Motorizado, 107 Faunos, Las Ligas Menores, Bestia Bebe and Koyi, with a lo-fi, garage-leaning house sound. The label stays active with fresh releases like 107 Faunos' Dueña / Aeronostalgia in January 2025 and continues to run its own Festilaptra gatherings.
