Canvasback Music is a US indie/alternative label founded in 2006 by Steve Ralbovsky that became a division of Atlantic Records in 2009. It has championed a tasteful roster of indie-rock and alternative acts, breaking British band alt-J in the States and serving as home to Manchester Orchestra and The War On Drugs. The catalog leans literate, melodic indie and alt-rock, and the label remains active with newer signings alongside its established names.
