Junior Aspirin is a not-for-profit, artist-run independent record label founded in London in 2002 by Andy Cooke, Dan Fox, Ashley Marlowe and Nathaniel Mellors, with the founders now scattered between London, New York, Brighton and LA/Amsterdam. It deliberately resists genre, leaning into avant-garde, experimental and post-punk releases that often blur the line between music and the visual-art world. Its roster has long overlapped with contemporary artists, and the label's work has surfaced in exhibitions at the ICA London, Centre Pompidou, Performa and the Hammer Museum.
