Household Name Records is a DIY independent label founded in 1996 in London by David 'Lil' Giles and Katherine 'Kafren' Vik to spotlight unsigned UK bands. Rooted in punk and hardcore, its catalog also runs through ska-core, ska-punk and indie rock, including Capdown's hardcore/ska/dub debut Civil Disobedients. Its roster has featured Capdown, Lightyear, Howards Alias, Adequate Seven and Captain Everything!. The label and its webstore continue to operate, with the main site noting a redesign in progress.
