Home Normal is an ambient and modern-classical label founded by Ian Hawgood, conceived in Tokyo in late 2008 and launched in 2009, releasing post-classical, electroacoustic and drone music with a refined, handcrafted aesthetic. The operation relocated from Tokyo to Warsaw and then to Brighton, UK by late 2019, with Hawgood (who also runs Mokoshi Mastering) curating throughout. The label remains active on Bandcamp, where its own .com domain now redirects, and has signalled 2026 as its final year of regular physical releases.
