Harthouse is a German techno label founded in 1992 in Frankfurt/Offenbach (associated with Sven Vath alongside Matthias Hoffmann and Heinz Roth) as a sister label to Eye Q, famous for defining the harder, driving 'Sound of Frankfurt' that became central to early-90s German techno. After the parent company's 1997 collapse the brand passed through several owners and, since late 2017, has been operated by Berlin-based UCM.ONE. Its catalogue spans classics from Hardfloor and Resistance D to releases by artists such as Boris Brejcha, with the imprint still issuing techno today.
