Guruguru Brain is an artist-run label started in Tokyo in 2014 by Go Kurosawa and Tomo Katsurada of Kikagaku Moyo, and now run out of Fukuoka by Go, Ao and Kaito after stints in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. It puts out psychedelic rock, krautrock and folk records from across Asia: Kikagaku Moyo, Minami Deutsch, Dhidalah, maya ongaku and Satomimagae from Japan, Mong Tong, Prairie WWWW and Scattered Purgatory from Taiwan, Khana Bierbood and Korlakang from Thailand, LAIR and Kribo Records from Indonesia, and TENGGER from Korea. Recent titles include TENGGER's SKY and Korlakang's Samong Sai, both put on sale in mid 2026, and the catalogue reaches shops through Light in the Attic, SRD, Clear Spot, Rush Hour and diskunion. The about page says plainly that the label is looking for new music: send digital demos to the label's published address, or ask and they will give you a postal address for physical ones.
