FatCat Records is an English independent label, based in Brighton, that grew out of a late-'80s techno and house record shop before becoming a label in 1997. It has released a wide, adventurous roster spanning experimental rock, electronica and modern classical, including Sigur Ros, Animal Collective, mum and Frightened Rabbit.
