Fabrica Records is a Brooklyn-based independent label founded in 2010 by Joao Da Silva (of the project Luciernaga / Redencion 911), who started it out of his Gowanus apartment as a home-made cassette imprint. It documents and promotes experimental, drone, noise, and avant-garde musicians, issuing limited-edition cassettes, vinyl, and CDs, often with hand-made packaging. The roster leans deep into the international underground/experimental scene with artists like Insect Factory, Robert Turman, Aaron Dilloway, Drekka, and Alan Courtis. The label remains active via Bandcamp and a Big Cartel storefront.
