Electro-Fi Records
Toronto · Ontario
Electro-Fi Records is a Toronto blues label founded in 1996 by aficionado Andrew Galloway, with help from Gary Collver and engineer-producer Alec Fraser, opening its account in 1997 with Chicago harp master Little Mack Simmons. Often called a 'Chess Records of the Great White North,' it has built a deep catalogue of genuine blues, frequently pairing veteran American players with Canadian talent. Its roster reads like a blues who's-who - Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith, Mark Hummel, Harrison Kennedy, Kenny 'Blues Boss' Wayne and Juno-winner Julian Fauth among them.
