Eightball Records is a New York City dance-music label founded around 1990 (Alex Kaplan and DJ Smash), an influential early-90s force in house, deep house, garage, and techno. Rooted in NYC club culture, it released records from artists and remixers such as Mood II Swing, Junior Vasquez, Angel Moraes, and Tedd Patterson. The classic imprint's heyday was the 1990s; a digital reissue arm (Eightball Records Digital) keeps the catalog circulating on SoundCloud and streaming.
