One of the foundational Chicago house labels, DJ International Records launched in 1985 and put out early, genre-defining records from the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Steve 'Silk' Hurley and Marshall Jefferson, whose 'Move Your Body' became a house anthem. It helped carry the sound of Chicago's clubs to a global audience.
