Dirtnap Records is a Portland, Oregon independent punk label founded by Ken Cheppaikode in Seattle in 1999 and run out of the Green Noise record store since 2005. It traffics in fast, melodic, garage-leaning punk and power-pop, building a deep catalog of interconnected Pacific Northwest and Texas (notably Denton) bands. Notable past and present acts include The Exploding Hearts, The Marked Men, Radioactivity, Mean Jeans, and The Estranged. Still active, the label is regarded as one of the country's premier melodic-punk imprints.
