Death Row Records is the legendary West Coast hip-hop label, originally founded in 1991 by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and others, that defined the G-funk era with landmark releases from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and 2Pac. Snoop Dogg acquired the label's name, logo, and trademark from MNRK Music Group in 2022 and has relaunched it as an active imprint, signing newer artists like October London while reissuing the historic catalog back onto streaming. Its current roster spans classic-affiliated acts and new signings, and the label remains rooted in rap, hip-hop, and R&B.
