Chigliak is a small rarities-focused imprint of Jagjaguwar founded in 2012 by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Named after Ed Chigliak from the TV series Northern Exposure, the label exists to give proper (often first-time vinyl) releases to extraordinary albums that had only limited or non-commercial runs. Its inaugural slate leaned indie/folk and indie rock, reissuing Amateur Love, 12 Rods and Sarah Siskind.
