BUFU Records (“By Us For Us”) is an independent DIY record label founded in 2012 by Ben Katzman (ex-Guerilla Toss; frontman of Ben Katzman’s DeGreaser), based in Boston with ties to his native Miami (home of the BUFU Festival). Known for cassette releases across noise rock, punk, indie rock and post-punk (~77 titles); roster/catalog includes Tall Juan, Flower Girl, Free Pizza, The Jellyfish Brothers and past releases from Japanther and Krill. Most recent releases date to ~2020; now largely a catalog/legacy operation.
