Bruised Tongue
Ottawa · Ontario
A scrappy Ottawa independent founded in 2009 by Craig Proulx and Pierre Richardson, Bruised Tongue champions the city's underground and experimental fringe, releasing local punk, noise, lo-fi and outsider rock acts. The label leans into niche physical formats, issuing much of its catalog on cassette and hand-cut lathe records, and routes its storefront and catalog through Bandcamp.
